I still remember the day Emily officially *booked* her wedding with me. I was standing in the middle of Target, actually with my second photographer, Sara! My jaw dropped. A greenhouse wedding?!? Was this real life?! It was. And let me tell you, Emily + Jack's day COULD NOT have been prettier.
Nestled in Somerset, Virginia just outside of Charlottesville is this amazing little floral market called Grelen. Grelen not only provided a gorgeous greenhouse specifically for events, but they provided the most amazing mountain backdrop! The greenhouse was clear enough to see the stars at night. The staff was amazing- they carted us up to the top of the property at sunset! The October weather was showing off too with its cool breeze and not a raindrop in sight. Jack + Emily were excited to host a fun sort-of escape into a picturesque garden wedding surrounded by beautiful scenery/greenery. And boy did Grelen deliver!
Emily + Jack met working together at a restaurant. They dated for 4 years before they got engaged. About 2-3 years into their relationship, Emily + Jack realized their fathers attended the same high-school, but never actually met! Talk about a small world!
